Dr Ferris Touma

Dr. Touma, a highly accomplished cardiologist, completed his training in Sydney and Melbourne. He holds undergraduate degrees in Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy, Hons) and Medicine and Surgery (B.Medicine, B.Surgery, Hons) from the renowned University of Sydney, where he graduated with honors in both disciplines.

To further his expertise, Dr. Touma completed his physicians training in internal medicine at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He then pursued advanced cardiology training in New South Wales before embarking on a specialised advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at Victoria's Alfred Hospital. During this fellowship, he underwent comprehensive training in various advanced cardiac imaging techniques, including cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, and advanced echocardiography.

Previously, Dr. Touma served as the Director of Physician Education at the Northern Beaches Hospital, where he played a crucial role in training aspiring specialist physicians from the Royal North Shore training network. His commitment to medical research is evident through his extensive track record in cardiac research, which has resulted in several peer-reviewed publications in national and international journals.

Dr. Touma's passion lies in the prevention and early identification of heart disease. He is dedicated to making a positive impact on the health of individuals within the community he serves. Currently residing in the upper North Shore with his wife and two young children, Dr. Touma brings his expertise and compassionate care to benefit the local community.
